The SVI Hybrid is a beautiful, beautiful gun to have. It might be just me, but I think it’s one of the best looking guns out there. It is plain black, except for the various metal accessories which are polished aluminum. The built quality is also something worth pointing out – it’s really good. The grip and the slide are all plastic, but the frame and outer barrel are metal which gives the gun some excellent weight making it very steady and solid. The hammer is skeletonised and the trigger is both interchangeable and adjustable for stroke. There is a full length recoil rod and the sights are an adjustable Bo-Mar rear and a foresight post without any white dots. Markings are very good although pretty sparse. I just love the INFINITY legends on either side of the slide. Performance level is not too different from any other 6″ Ltd or the latest Expert or SVIs, but it’s still quite good. The gun is pretty accurate, fairly consistent and powerful. I think you’re gonna like it too. Here are some specifications:
Length: 245mm
Capacity: 33+1rds (6mm BB)
Barrel Diameter: 6.03mm
Power: 300fps
System: Gas Blowback
Weight 1085g Price
The gun is very well made and the only flaw I could find was that the metal frame faded pretty fast. That of course depends on how frequent you use it and how well you take care of it. Also spare parts are pretty hard to find since its limited edition, but if you look harder I don’t think you’ll have problems finding what you need. Anyway it’s an eye-catching gun and even though there are much better performers out there it’s really worth getting. If you can spend $245.00 for it, I suggest you get it without any hesitation.
