Western Arms – Para-Ordnance P14-45 Two Tone

by Airsoft Guns on September 18, 2008

The Para-Ordnance P14-45 is basically a 1911 with a few variations. It comes in black, silver and NATO green. The two-tone gun is not everyone’s taste, and frankly I’m not too much of a fan either. Still I can’t deny it’s pretty stylish. The smooth, yet bulked out design looks really nice. What’s impressive about this gun is its weight; it’s near a kilo with not so many metal parts included. It feels solid and steady in the hand. The grip is also great – it is swollen to permit the fitting of a double stack magazine and very comfortable. The sights are very basic, with an almost flat, completely fixed, blade at the rear with a notch in it, which is aligned with the single blade foresight. Still they’re pretty useful. The gun is very powerful and has an amazing kick. It‘s accurate and very consistent. Here are the specifications for it:

Capacity: 25
Weight: 990
Power: 340
Power Source: HFC134, HFC22
Blowback: Yes
Hop-up: Adjustable
Shooting Mode: Semi
Construction: ABS Heavy Weight Plastic, Metal

There’s not much to be put as a downside here. Some of you may not like the fact that there are no rails for accessories, but I don’t find that a huge setback. You should be careful about the BBs you’re using as the gun won’t take lower grade ones. They will totally ruin the performance. Overall, the Two Tone P14-45 is a good, solid, powerful performer and I’m pretty sure you’ll be happy with it if you decide to get it. It will cost you about $165 and even if it’s a little difficult to find it’s quite worth getting.
