Western Arms – Para Ordnance Limited

by Airsoft Guns on August 29, 2008

The P14-45 Limited is based upon a full length Para Ordnance P14-45. It’s not too different from a traditional 1911 for those familiar with this gun. The Para Ordnance Limited is more of a target shooting oriented gun. It features the classic Para look of the swollen bellied 1911 (to accommodate the double stacker magazine). The gun is all black and rather monotonous if you ask me, but still has some charm in it. What’s interesting is the trigger – it features a travel adjustment that allows you to reduce the free travel in the trigger for a very light and fast trigger action. It’s not something you’ll see on every gun out there. The grips are standard Para fare – black, not too impressive, but at the same time pretty comfortable. The gun is comfortable to shoot – pretty accurate producing nice groupings, powerful and fairly consistent. It has nice hard kick and is pretty durable so you can use stronger gases with it. Here are some specifications and we’ll move on:

Built Material ABS
Magazine Capacity 25+1
Length 216mm
Barrel Length 108mm
Weight 990g
System Gas Blow Back / Hop Up
Package Include Gun, Magazine, Manual

The one thing you may not like in the Para Ordnance styling is the swollen grip. It’s pretty comfortable and effective, but may be just too big if you have smaller hands. Other than that I like the gun very much and think you’ll like it too if you decide to get it. It will cost you about $180 which is pretty cheap actually for a gun as good as this one. If you get the chance to try it first do it, but I don’t think you’ll be making a mistake if you decide to get it without a tryout. It’s a good gun and I’m sure you’ll be very happy with it.
