The H&K P7M13 is a bit odd looking, but is said to be one of the best GBB guns out there. And it really is one well made pistol. Its finish in particular is remarkably good. The gun is small, but feels heavier than many full size guns, and the quality of the materials used is instantly apparent. The gun has very solid feeling and that’s to be expected as it’s mostly made of heavyweight material. The grip panels, too, feel very solid. Metal parts include grip cocker, ambi mag release, trigger and front and rear sights. As to the markings – the MGC P7M13 is undoubtedly one of the best airsoft guns ever made. The markings are deep, accurate and look really awesome. Operating the P7 is interesting and a bit tricky. It was designed to be ultra safe, but very quick to transition to the point where it can be fired. The simple operation of squeezing the grip cocks the gun and allows you to pull the trigger. It’s easy to do but takes some time to get used to. Check out some characteristics before we move on:
Caliber – 9×19mm Luger/Para
Weight – empty 850 g
Length – 175 mm
Barrel length – 105 mm
Magazine capacity – 13 rounds
So as far as design and execution go this really is one amazing pistol that deserves a top spot, but when we come to the performance part I can’t really put it in between the best guns out there. It’s an old pistol and it can’t really keep up with the new improved guns. It’s not the most powerful pistol and its .25g BBs fall well below the aim point. This is something you cannot fix with upgrades and to be honest I’m not even sure if there are any upgrades available. So if you’re looking for performance this is definitely not the pistol for you. The collectors will be happy with it, though. So if you’re interested the P7M13 will cost you about $400. It’s up to you whether to spend it or not.
