If you like all metal guns here’s a nice treat for you. The HFC – Beretta M9 M190 is really nice looking pistol and except for the grips that feel rubbery to the touch has entirely metal construction. It also seems to be made of a pretty good quality metal unlike some similar all metal pistols. When you take the gun in your hand you’ll notice the weight right away, the thing is pretty heavy and feels very realistic. But it’s also very comfortable to hold. You’ll notice how good the grips feel and how well balanced the pistol is. The slide lock, trigger and hammer all seem nicely made and work with a satisfying click. As to the performance – the pistol shoots pretty well, it’s fairly accurate and very consistent. It’s also pretty powerful, especially when you use it with Green gas. It has somewhat heavy trigger pull, but it’s certainly not uncomfortable or worth considering as a flaw. Here are some features before we move on:

• Detailed Gun

Speaking of flaws this sure isn’t the perfect gun, but considering its price tag most of the things I’ll mention next are worth ignoring. I’ll start with the safeties that don’t operate as smoothly as I would like them to and seem slightly loose, even for a new gun. The sights are also not perfect. They are cast in and lack any white dots, which makes acquisition a bit slower. Then there’s this nasty performance flaw – sometimes the gun would not reliably lock back on empty. The only explanation I can find for that is the cold weather conditions and I hope it will get better when the temperatures are warmer, but I can’t say for sure. As to the appearance – I don’t like that some of the casting looks a little soft, with some areas of slight inadequacy around the slide, but these are very minor and, at this price, are probably unfair to point out. The markings on the gun are also a disappointment. They are nicely rendered yes, but the wording seems a bit toy like compared with even those on KSC and TM Berettas, let alone the accuracy of WA’s markings. Still, the HFC M9 is excellent value for money. You can get it for about $85, which, let be honest, is practically nothing. If you can spend more money you should absolutely get a WA Beretta, but if you can’t I think you’ll like the HFC one very much.
